Quinton Ramone "Rampage" Jackson was born on June 20, 1978 and is an American professional mixed martial arts fighter who ascended to prominence with his fights in Pride Fighting Championships of Japan. Rampage beat Chuck Liddell on May 26, 2007 to assume the light heavyweight belt of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Currently Jackson has a record of 27 wins and 6 losses, and has often been noticed with his trademark “Rumble Chain” wrapped around his neck before fights and ringside.

Jay Dee "B.J." Penn was born December 12, 1978 in Hilo Hawaii and is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner as well as an American mixed martial arts fighter. Penn is the first American born champion of the World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship (Mundial) in the black belt category (2000). Penn is also a former UFC Welterweight Champion and is a prominent coach on The Ultimate Fighter 5 reality show. The nickname B.J. is sort for Baby Jay because he is the youngest male siblings, all of which are named Jay Dee Penn.

Rich Jay Franklin was born October 5, 1974 in Cincinnati Ohio and has become a mixed martial arts fighter and is a former UFC Middleweight Champion.

Mirko Cro Cop was born on September 10, 1974 to his given name Mirko Filipovic. Mirko is a Croatian law enforcement officer who became a kickboxer and then became a mixed martial artist. Mirko’s professional name is derived from his membership in the Croatian police’s Anti Terrorist Group standing for “Cro(atian) Cop”.

Mathew Allen Hughes was born October 13, 1973 in Hillsboro Illinois. Hughes is a professional mixed martial arts fighter and most notably a former UFC Welterweight Champion. Hughes trains as part of the Miletich Fighting Systems with Tim Sylvia, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and former UFC champions Jens Pulver and Pat Miletich.

Georges “Rush” Saint-Pierre was born May 19, 1981 and is often referred to as GSP. GSP is a Canadian mixed martial arts fighter and renowned former UFC Welterweight Champion. GSP holds notable wins over current UFC Lightweight Champion Sean Sherk. Matt Hughes, Frank Trigg, B.J. Penn, and Karo Parisyan. Currently, GSP is ranked the #2 for 170lb (77 kg) fighter in the world by the MMAWeekly, a mixed martial arts journalism company.

Ken Shamrock was born Kenneth Wayne Kilpatrick in Macon, Georgia on February 11, 1964. Shamrock is former professional wrestler and a legendary American mixed martial arts fighter. Shamrock is most noted for his successful participation in the World Wrestling Federation, the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Shamrock is presently a subject matter expert in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). Shamrock has written two books, Beyond the Lion’s Den and Inside the Lion’s Den.

Royce Gracie, pronounced Hoyce Gracie, was born December 12, 1966 and is a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. Gracie specializes in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Gracie became enormously popular in the mid 1990s with a long successful string of submission victories over much larger opponents in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It is noted that between 1993 and 1994, Gracie won 11 matches by submission and was the overall tournament winner of UFC 1, UFC2, UFC 4 and fought to a draw with champion Ken Shamrock in the UFC 5 superfight.

Randy Duane Couture was born June 22, 1963 and is a Greco Roman Wrestler and successful professional mixed martial arts fighter. Couture is currently the UFC Heavyweight Champion and an elected member of the UFC Hall of Fame. Couture is the only athlete to have held championship titles in both the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Couture is also the only five time champion in the history of the UFC. He has been nicknamed “The Natural” and also “Captain America”.

Jacob C. "Tito" Ortiz was born January 23, 1975 and is an American mixed martial arts fighter from Huntington Beach, California. Tito Ortiz is also known as "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy. Ortiz was born to a Mexican father and an American mother and spent numerous nights in juvenile detention facilities as a child. His mother and father separate when Ortiz was 13 and his father promptly moved Tito and his brothers to the suburbs of Huntington Beach from Santa Ana.
