Ken Shamrock was born Kenneth Wayne Kilpatrick in Macon, Georgia on February 11, 1964. Shamrock is former professional wrestler and a legendary American mixed martial arts fighter. Shamrock is most noted for his successful participation in the World Wrestling Federation, the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Shamrock is presently a subject matter expert in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). Shamrock has written two books, Beyond the Lion’s Den and Inside the Lion’s Den. Ken is the adoptive older brother of mixed martial arts fighter Frank Shamrock.
